Eye is the most sensitive organ of our body, this provides us vision and we get to see the world through this eyes and here you can see something new. BBC presents the news about the Surgeons in Oxford who have used a robot to operate inside the eye in this world for the first time.
It is very risk if there be the minor mistake in eye we could lost the vision but the team at Oxford John Radcliffe Hospital has used this device to operate the eyes. This is controlled via a joystick to remove a membrane one hundredth of a millimeter thick.
. Patient Bill Beaver who is 70, says that it was a fairy tale to have the surgery done by this. The surgeons hope that this procedure will pave the way for more complex eye surgery which is currently possible in human hand.
Here is the video where you can see group of surgeons with the patient operating the eyes through this robot. You can see this on the video how it is working under the human eye. This looks quiet d@nger but hope this would be the effective way of surgery in future.
